UMPIRE DEVELOPMENT

Has your young ballplayer ever been interested in becoming an umpire? It's a great way to earn some extra money and learn more about the great game of Baseball. The Nanaimo Minor Baseball Association is looking for new umpires for the upcoming season. The youngest age group for umpire training is 11 years old.

Umpire training is provided through BC Baseball Umpire Association (BCBUA). Training is 2 part. Online Training modules and In-person clinics held throughout BC. The In-person clinics are open to anyone from all areas regardless of where your actual baseball association is located. Please see below for more information and links.
