2019 13U & 16U Team BC Selects Program

 

This year's BC Minor Baseball High-Performance program is set up to be the best one yet! For those of you who are seeking the opportunity to try out for the 13U or 16U Team BC Selects Squad here is what you need to know:

Players must attend one of the Selects ID camp to be eligible. (see below) or

visit BC Minor Baseball's High-Performance page https://www.bcminorbaseball.org/high-performance



16U

ID camp cost is $30 (Cash), to be paid at the time of camp check-in

Select players will be invited to the 16U Selects Development Camp (location TBD) May 31st - Jun 2nd. 

Lead instructor Ernie Young* 
Selects Development Camp cost is $250. 
Players are responsible for transportation, lodging and meals.


Fifteen players chosen from the 16U Selects Development Camp will be sent to represent Team BC Selects and play at Saint Martin�?�¢??s Summer Series 16U Tournament, Olympia WA.


Airfare, accommodations and tournament entry fees are provided by BC Minor Baseball. Players are responsible for meals and incidentals.

Fifteen players chosen from the 13U Selects Development Camp will be sent to represent Team BC Selects and play at the Triple Crown Sports Father�?�¢??s Day Slugfest, Tri-Cies WA.


Airfare, accommodations and tournament entry fees are provided by BC Minor Baseball. Players are responsible for meals and incidentals.

The PeeWee AA team will play in the Island League from April to June. All selected players will practice and play a different schedule than the House schedule. There is an additional cost to play if selected. Fundraising for all players is mandatory. Players that are not selected or choose not to try out will be evaluated and drafted by the coaches and play in the House League. Your coach will notify you of the practice and game schedule before April 1st.

Players selected for this team will play in the BC Provincial League from June to August.  This requires travel to the mainland on specific weekends for league play and tournaments. There is an additional cost to play if selected. Fundraising for all players is mandatory. 


Bantam AAA

The Bantam AAA team will play in the BC Provincial League from April to August. All selected players will practice and play a different schedule than the House schedule. This requires travel to the mainland on specific weekends for league play and tournaments. There is an additional cost to play if selected. Fundraising for all players is mandatory. Players that are not selected or choose not to try out will be evaluated and drafted by the coaches and play in the House League . Your coach will notify you of the practice and game schedule before April 1st.
